Some people put a lot of stock on what groups you belong to. I'm not much of an organization person, but for those who wonder - - I am a past or present member of the following professional and recreational associations - Mostly past:

• National Federation of Federal Employees
• National Education Association
• Central Kentucky Art Guild (dried up)
• South Central Kentucky Arts & Crafts Guild (Recommended if you are in the area of Mumfordville, KY)
• Association of Miniature Art
• Central Kentucky Art Guild (Recommended if you are in the area of Elizabethtown, KY)
• National Wood Carvers Association (Recommended for all carvers)
• Punta Gorda Woodcarvers (local)
• Charlotte County Woodcarvers (local)
• Punta Gorda RV Resort Carving Club (Dried up. This was a really great group who welcomed me and taught me what little I know about carving. They were a small group of mostly older carvers. Most of them have moved away or are no longer able to carve for one reason or another. I miss this group - especially you, Mark and Bob.)
• Llano Grande Wood carvers Group and Rio Grande Valley Wood carvers (These were short term memberships during an extended visit to south Texas.)
• Louisville Artisans Guild (Recommended if you are in the Louisville, KY area and do lots of shows.)
