I do most of my painting under natural light or daylight lighting.  At home I can easily work on larger pieces, but I prefer miniatures. They are ideal for traveling and I can work on the painting anywhere.  I like to work outside and am inspired by my surroundings.

Another great thing abut miniature paintings is that I like to paint quickly, often finishing a painting in a day.  I am kind of hyper, so I easily get side-tracked by another of my many interests.  If I don't finish the painting that day, it may be several weeks before I get back in the mood to finish it.  My painting and sculpting or figure carving is my fine art?? side.
